Massive Audio Catalog

This project was Massive Audio’s 2013 product catalog, and it was one of the more intense projects I have worked on. There was a lot of information requiring extensive attention to detail, but the results were worth it! My favorite part to work on was the feature page that shows an orange Mustang that had been “souped up” with Massive gear by one of their clients. To make this page pop, I had to do a fair amount of doctoring to the original photo (see below).

It was very interesting to piece together each page layout in a way that followed a consistent theme, while still being able to fit the extensive product details and images. One giant puzzle! This is certainly a project I’m glad to have had the experience of working on.

Pacifier

Pacifier is an up-and-coming band in Lansing, MI featuring original music that draws from Funk, Jazz, Blues, Folk, and Rock. For such an eclectic band, the logo had to be able to cross several genres.

Music of Split Genres

This poster is for the first of many concerts in which the goal is to combine local music of various genres into one show. Each concert will also benefit a local charity in a unique way. For this first installment, the main fundraising idea was a Gypsy Carnival. I went the obvious – and super fun – route of an old-school carnival poster. Members of the performing bands are shown at the top of the poster and scrolling ribbons and swirls add an ornate look reminiscent of classic Circus posters.

Regional Psychological Services

For this postcard, I wanted to convey relaxed professionalism that would appeal to several age groups. The wooden backdrop brings in a sense of “home” and peace, while the rounded geometric squares allow a playfulness that adds movement and energy to the design.

Andrews Automotive Yearbook Ads

This design was inspired by something every inner-child can relate to – a yearbook! My client wanted something that would fit in perfectly with the yearbook theme, while standing out from the other ads. I used school colors, mascots, and felt-tip accents to achieve the effect of “doodled” messages.

Running With Scissors

For this mobile salon, the founder of Running With Scissors wanted a brand image that was fun, sassy, and chic. We used bold colors of black and white, which allows the fuchsia to really pop. Crisp lines lend themselves to the minimalist features of the silhouette, and varying the magnification of the woman’s silhouette add to the visual interest.
